A popular alternative to staff parties, family days offer an opportunity for you to provide a fantastic occasion that will give your guests the very best family-orientated time available. We will analyse your specific objectives of hosting a family day (as opposed to having a party for example) as these will give us excellent pointers for our initial proposals.

Complete Events have managed many such events, for up to 2000 guests, and we believe we offer fantastic value and quality second to none, bringing together a plethora of services to create a coherently scheduled yet fun all-day event.

The major key to a successful family day is providing quality activities to keep guests of all ages busy for the duration of their stay. We will work extensively with you from your first contact to achieve this blend: only you know your guests - we will not pretend to. However we have extensive in-house experience and are bursting with ideas.

We will apply extensive research to your brief, anticipating and incorporating the many factors involved in such a project, some of which would typically include:

Age range and anticipated expectations (if any) of your guests
Successful combination of participatory and observational activities
Blending excellent entertainment with any educational stipulations
Corporate branding of the event as required (logos, colour scheme, invitations etc)
Optimum use and safety of the location
Wet weather/dry weather scenarios affecting the event as a whole

Entertainments & Activities: Possibly the most important 'surface' factor in any family day we can bring together a huge variety of 'things to do and see'. Working to the basic premise that your guests will want to be amused and/or amazed by anything they take part in or watch we would propose a 'package' of ideas that we believe to be most appropriate to your specific requirements. The list of possibilities is endless, but to give you an idea:

Bands of every style, from Big Names to tribute acts, folk to techno-rock fusion!
Walkabout performers from circus acts to magicians
Large-scale entertainments: Aerobatic displays to full-scale battle re-enactments
Child specific activities and entertainers, from clowns to pantomimes to miniature farms
Adult specific 'activities' such as themed bars!
'Rides', from bouncy castles and bumper cars to tethered balloon rides, helicopter trips or (for the really brave) donkey rides!
Cabaret performers for traditional tastes and for the more 'acquired'/less squeamish tastes (!)
'Technical' visual entertainment, from Sky Guys and Outdoor giant screens to Laser Displays and professional Firework shows

We will work strictly within your budget parameters. An event for huge numbers need not be prohibitively expensive. Ownership of much of the infrastructure required to host such an event allows us the flexibility to be cost-effective at every stage.

As with all of our events, where we do not own the relevant equipment or skills we will find the right supplier for you, who combines excellent value with quality and professionalism.

Above all we will never compromise the safety of your guests for the sake of entertainment - we know the regulations to adhere to and the codes of practice to follow. We are professional to the nth degree, providing method statements and risk assessments where appropriate, which attend to all relevant H&S and Environmental Health regulations.
